7th Grade Computer Applications

One Semester

Students will apply different types of technology for written and visual presentations. Computer technologies will include:

• Word processing (Microsoft Word)
• Varous spread sheets (Microsoft Excel and Filemaker Pro)
• Graphing with spread sheets (Microsoft Excel)
• The world wide web (NVU free web editor)
• Student Personal Webpage (NVU free web editor)
• Maintain Bethel Junior High school web-site (NVU free web editor)
• Powerpoint presentations (Microsoft Powerpoint)
• Database creation and manipulation (Microsoft Access)
• Mail merge and mailing labels (Microsoft Access and Microsoft Word)
• Desktop Publishing with Microsoft Publisher
• Using the Bethel Network to Collaborate
• Introduce Google Collaboration
