Watch the film "Discovering Washington" and draw picture notes of various interesting scenes from the movie.  We began the film yesterday.  Each student was given a blank sheet of paper.  They folded it into six equal size squares.  As they watched the film, they drew pictures of scenes that interested them.  They should have included as much information as possible in a picture caption.
