Per Middle Schools/High Schools That
Work:
*Students
must keep track of their reading by using a journal
(spiral
notebook). The information they record should include the date
and
pages
read, significant quotes, page numbers of the quotes,
and
explanations of why the quotes are significant. They must read
every
night
and respond at least two times per week (per seven days).
*The purpose of
the journal is to expand each student's reading
experiences. I encourage thoughtful responses. I will reward
responses that show extraordinary insight.
*Journals are due
on Mondays (every 3 weeks).
Per DOL:
*DOL work
will be due on Fridays. The assignment is not complete
until
every DOL is written correctly. Monthly scores will be given.
October:
*Gods/Goddesses recording due October 7-8
*Sparta: Due
