The Structure
Program at Cedarcrest Junior High school is built for students with
Autism. High structure and a high number of visuals are used to
help students with Autism perform in the school setting. Students
work on academics, social skills, adaptive skills, and functional
skills. The goal is to make students as independent as possible so
they can be successful. The classroom uses techniques and
strategies from Division TEACCH
(www.teacch.com).
