1. Do the assigned work for the day . Keep yesterday's and today's work with you and I will collect them later. Use these to study for the test at home. 2. Study all your notes for the chapter test on Thursday. 10/15/09. 1. Turn in your Chapter notes for grading. 2. Take the chapter test. Notes will not be used on the test. 10/19/09. 1. Today we are starting a new unit called CHEMICAL INTERACTION that will run into January 2010. 2. Most of the activites will be done in class unless the student needs to complete sections at home. 3. There may not be homework assignment. 10/28/09 1. Investigation # 1 On Substances is now completed and the Journal is now due. It needs to be turned in by 10/29/09 2. Students who were absent need to arrange with me as to when they can come after achool to complete the work. 3. Students who need to redo or retake test need to find out they can do that. It will be after school. 4. Investigation #2 on Elements is starting today. 10/30/09. 1. Investigation #2 will be completed by Thursday. The Science Journal will be due by that time. 2. A test on both of the investigations will be on Friday 5th. 3. Be sure to study for the test on both Journal #1 and # 2. 11/16/09 1. Test on Journals 1 & 2 has been given and graded. Retake will be either Tuesday or Wednesday. 2. Journal #2 on element has been graded also and returned. 3. We have started on Journal #3 Particles 0n 11/9/09 and we are about half way through. 4. Students need to working on their journals in class. If absent, students need to come after school to complete the work. 11/19/09 1. Investigation # 3 on Particles is almost complete and there will be a test either on Monday or Tuesday next week. 2. Journal #3 will be due on the day of the test. |
