Thank you for visiting my classroom website.

Please check in regularly to keep up with what is going on in class.  You can view the daily assignment calendar under "events"; download assignments, (located under the "documents" tab); as well as link to important and helpful websites.

7th Grade Integrated Science:

All of our class activities and work are done in class.  There is almost never homework.  Students are asked to work during the 55 minutes while they are in class.  If a student is absent or does not complete an assignment in a timely manner, they will need to stay after to make it up.  I stay at least one day a week for students to make up work.  (I have 2 small kids at home, so the day I stay fluctuates from week to week.)

STEM Inquiry Projects:  This is a required at home project for all 7th grade science students.  Please see the announcement tab for a description of the project, the events calendar for important due dates, the links tab for project websites, and the documents tab for project hand-outs.

Make-up/Redo Policy

Any assignment or assessment can be redone for a better grade.  Students need to keep their original assignment in order to make it up. Students will have 2 choices for make-up/redo

1) For any assignment or test that is below standard (C-/70%), students can choose to come in and correct the mistakes on the assignment or test or correct it at home; this will give them a corrected grade of a C-/70%.

2) For any test/assessment which earned a lesser grade than the student wished, the student must complete a practice sheet of the skills represented on the assessment, study the mistakes made on the original assessment, then come in to take another assment to earn the higher grade of the 2.
