Ms. Nyborg manages the CJH Library. In addition, she serves as
an advisor to a group of students.
Ms. Nyborg has arranged for the CJH Library to be open for
students before school, during lunches, and after school until 4:15
p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays (except the first Monday that
school meets each month). Students can check out books, play board
and card games, use the computers, complete homework, etc.
Bus transportation is available for students who stay after
school.
Ms. Nyborg also promotes a Chess Club and a Reading Club. The
club meetings are usually held after school from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00
once a month in the library.
All CJH students are preparing their portfolios to be presented
to parents and staff during Student-led Conferences which will be
scheduled in late March.
Some CJH students are preparing for the Battle of the Books
Competition--Junior High Division. The building competition will be
held on March 24, and the district competition will be held on
