Spring break is over and we are preparing for two plays in the school. The kindergarten will do a "Little Red Hen" performance. The 6th Grade will perform in June, an Aztec play. Both grades are helping make the stage sets, costumes, and props in art class. The 2nd-4th grades are currently engaged in paper sculpture techniques. Their final project will be to make a free standing sculpture or a mask. The fifth grade has chosen to learn drawing skills. We are using a book called, " Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain," by Betty Edwards, to start. The first graders are making Eric Carle pictures from paper they textured.
