Ongoing Communication Arts Learning Targets (all
tied to the EALRs):
1. I can use a variety of tasks to develop and refine the writing
process.
2. I can demonstrate my writing skills progress by building an in
class portfolio.
3. I will use peer editing effectively.
4. Evaluate the author's use of literary devices to enhance
comprehension.
5. Evaluate traditional and contemporary literature written in a
variety of genres.

ANNOUNCEMENTS tab: go to this tab for current
learning targets, upcoming events, due dates, and additional
information regarding the class.
DISCUSSION tab: this is a great place to use if you are absent,
gone for a few days, or just home sick. You can ask a question
about homework, an on-going assignment or comment on how the class
is going. If a thread is started, I can answer and the conversation
can be extended.
DOCUMENTS tab: come to this place for downloading documents either
passed out in class or more information on topics in class.
EVENTS tab: important dates, assignments, and school functions.
HOMEWORK tab: Outlines current and future assignments.
LINKS tab: additional information or assignments will be available
