If you did not have your picture taken for your ID card, please see Ms. Lee in the ASB office during your lunch.  This is only if you did not have your picture taken by our school photographer.

Science Fair Winners, you must register to attend PLU's Science Fair today.  You may come to Mrs. Opincarne's room (104) during tutorial to register. 

Make sure and check the lost and found by today because it will be donated to charity. 

There will be a track interest meeting in the small gym during tutorial today.  Track has no cuts, it's a lot of fun and we usually have great weather.  Come join us, the more the merrier. 

Freshmen . . . are you interested in trying out for the 2010 -2011 GKHS Dance Team?  If so, there will be an interest meeting today from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. in the library.  There is a sign up list in the office.  We look forward to seeing you!

All district junior high dance on Friday, March 19th at Bethel High School's cafeteria from 7:00 - 9:00 p,.m.  The cost is $6.00 at the door.  Remember school dress code is enforced.

Battle of the Books tonight @ CMJH 7:00 p.m.

Congratulations to our Construction Challenge Team for their regional victory last Saturday at Rochester Middle School.  The teams victory means they qualify for state in Wenatchee in 3 weeks.  Good job guys and gals!

Congratulations to the JV boys basketball team for their 55 - 16 victory over Cougar Mountain Junior High last night.  Hunter Geltz and Donovin Miller lead the way with 14 points each.

Congratulations to the 7th grade boys basketball team for their thrilling victory over Cougar Mountain Junior High last night.  They held on for a 27 - 25 win, bringing their record to 1 - 1.  The Falcons were led by the efforts of Jared Tout, Brayde Hunter, Sammy Campa, Glen Branscum and Justin Hudson.  Their next home game is March 4th.  Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer us to victory.

School dance tonight and the theme is Hawaiian/tropical (you must meet school dress code) from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (note:  time change).  The cost is $5.00 with ASB and $7.00 without.  We hope to see you all there!

Lacrosse clinic for Freshmen girls this weekend at Frontier Park.  February 6th at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m.  Also Lacrosse interest meeting during study hall today in room 203 at GKHS.

Don't forget . . . Thursday schedule means Battle of the Books practice during tutorial in the library.  That means today there will be practice and we start on time. 

The next school dance is Friday, February 5th.  The theme is Hawaiian/tropical (you must meet school dress code) and is from  6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (note:  time change).  The cost is $5.00 with ASB and $7.00 without.  We hope to see you all there!

Anyone and everyone who is interested in participating in the Battle of the Books 2010, please attend practices during tutorial on days with a Thursday schedule.  Look for the B-O-B sign to remind you.  We'll look at teams, help you form a team and take care of a few administrative things, as well as get a few practice questions.  Remember, we will start on time.  Any questions, see Mrs. Woyak or Mrs. Schulz in the library.

A reminder to boys trying out for basketball . . . First try-out is today.  8th & 9th grade are right after school and 7th grade starts at 4:00 p.m.  Make sure you get all paperwork to Mr. Thomas this week.
