My
Approach:
Failure
is not an option, but you must make the choice to succeed and be
actively involved in your own education.
Introduction
My name is Erica Lustig. I
came to teaching from a career as a lawyer and am very
enthusiastic about what I do. I have been teaching at
Frontier Junior High School for six years now. I have taught
a wide variety of topics including Art, Leadership, Com. Arts, and
American Social Studies. This year I will be teaching
Washington State History/Ancient Civilizations and Theater. I
am very excited about teaching these subjects because I have a
great love for all of them.
Washington State History
Objectives:
My objective for this
course is to introduce students to the amazing story of the state
they live in and what it means to be a citizen of this
state. My hope is that by understanding their past, students
will become citizens who want to participate in the shaping of
future Washington State's future. The study of history is also a
great way to develop critical thinking skills because of all of its
cross curricular applications.Combine thinking
skills with the ability to read and write well and there is nothing
your child cannot accomplish in the future.

syllabus.

Theater
Objectives:
My objectives for this
course are to help my students discover their creativity and
develop their presentation and public speaking skills. I hope
it will be a fun course where students can express themselves, use
their imaginations, and become more confident.
The
course will also have cross curricular connections with
Communication Arts and Social Studies.
