Welcome to 7th
grade!
REMINDER: If your student has an "I", this
means it did not meet standard, not that the assignment was never
attempted. He/she may have a score and still have an "I" if the
score was less than 70%. This means the assignment needs to be
completed again, or another form of the assignment, until it
reaches standard.

Arts: The majority of this class will focus on the
writing process, writing multi-paragraph essays, reading a variety
of genres and developing communication skills.
Sport in
Society: This class will look at the
effects of sport and sporting events on our society. We will
examine how sport is becoming a larger part of society and its
growing influence upon society.
