Hello Frontier,
My name is Scott Martin, and I am the Assistant Principal here at
Frontier.
I am a graduate of Rogers High School, Whitworth College, and City
University where I earned a BA in Theatre, a Masters in Teaching,
and a Masters in School Administration along with my principal
credentials. I spent eight years at Aylen Junior High
in the district next door, were I taught Drama, Math, Language
Arts, Leadership, Health, PE, Computer Math Lab, and served as
Puyallup's version of the Dean of Students. Since 2005 I have
been in the Bethel District where I enjoyed serving as the Dean of
Students here at Frontier and now as assistant principal.
I have a wife and two beautiful children. My wife, Lisa, is
an English teacher at BHS where she has been for over10
years. We have a daughter and a son, and together we enjoy
spending time at "the lake", or traveling with Nana and Papa in the
motorhome. In my free time I like to golf and recently earned
my pilot's license.
I am excited for the opportunity to continue to work with, and get
to know the staff, students, and families of Frontier Junior High,
and to help FJH be the best Junior High around!
