We will be working to improve reading abilities so students will be successful in all academic areas. We will be stressing the "Big 5" (vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, phonics and phonemes). Another area of focus will be writing for different audiences and in a variety of modes (persuasive, expository, letters, poetry). |
