Dancers from Spain provide cultural experiences that delight all
visitors to their country. Many colleges and YMCA
organizations offer dance lessons in this and other types of
Spanish dancing. La Unica, on St Helens street in Tacoma is a fun
place to try out some conversational Spanish and some different
dance programs.
The world language classes just finished a 2 day soccer
playoff. First place was taken by Mrs. Williams Spanish
classes, Second place by Mr Stirtz' German classes and third place
by Mrs.Matthews Spanish classes. This annual event is eagerly
received by the students and they participate in making flags,
posters and chants to urge their teams to victory.
