All decisions made are done so with consideration to how it impacts a students learning. Each student comes to a classroom with their specific skill combinations. It is my job to take them from where they and then bring them higher. I do not teach to "cover" material, but to further understanding. I teach without the use of rewards or charts. Research has shown that rewards in exchange for work can actually harm a students ability to learn.
